This week at Metro Community Garden, we harvested a total of 102 kg of fresh produce from our plots. The harvest was distributed to 39 families in our local community.
The autumn season continues to provide excellent growing conditions. Volunteer coordinators distributed the harvest at our Saturday morning market and through our weekday pickup program.
This week’s distribution marks another successful week of supporting local families with fresh, organically grown produce. Our regular recipients include seniors, young families, and neighbors facing food insecurity.
